Γεια! My name is Emmanuel, but my colleagues usually call me Manny. What I do
is simple: I speak to machines and they speak to me - and this is probably what you need me for!
In my free time I enjoy exercising, fine dining, going to the movies, studying history and
mythology, and following the eSports scene.
I'm based in Adelaide, South Australia — working full time.
I am currently focused on automation, scalable systems, and building reliable software delivery pipelines.
Developing software to perform automated configuration of devices in a large-scale network, using Python. The software is used to manage the configuration of thousands of devices across multiple data centres.

An internship I completed as part of my degree. I was part of a team of software engineers that aimed to build a social fitness application. I worked on both frontend and backend, and learned a lot of amazing things.
I graduated from the ANU in 2018, with first class honours. I majored in Computer Engineering and took courses, such as Electronics or Signal Processing as electives.
This was the subject of my honours thesis back in uni. It involved using a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) to speed up the process of decoding compressed data, and was my first research paper.

The aim of the PairFit app is to help users commit to fitness by matching them with
like-minded partners.
I contributed backend and frontend work to this social
fitness app, using Ionic, SQL, Android and iOS tooling, and Agile delivery practices.
The goal of this project is to provide an intuitive timetable builder to students of the ANU.
I later became the main website maintainer and was responsible for
expanding the features of the website, bug chasing and fixing, responding to user queries,
and in general anything that has to do with running a popular website.
Python app I built from scratch to automate participation in Twitch raffles.
I also extended the app with a trivia feature that can learn from unseen information.
